This was a fantastic experience. Tom returned my call promptly and came out within a few days to do an estimate. I showed him a few pictures of what we were thinking; he discussed stone types and their pros and cons, particularly with regard to cost. He communicated with me regularly about the expected start date and came out a few days before the start of the work to go over the project with us. The work started Monday morning and was complete by Tuesday; he checked in to see if we were satisfied with the final project. It looks amazing, and exactly like what we had envisioned. I would recommend him without hesitation - first quality work, attention to detail and regular communication throughout the process. If only every contractor was like this!!

Two years ago, we contacted Courtyard Concepts for a patio quote. Tom came down and worked with us generating a drawing that we needed to submit for approval from our condo association. Tom knew all the rules and was able to guide us through the approval process which immediately was approved. It helped that our association had past experience with Courtyard Concepts and were very comfortable with their work. Before we were able to start, the association experienced problems with boundaries and all construction projects were put on hold. Fast forward two years we received approval to commence. I contacted Courtyard Concepts and they immediately responded with a start date. They came in and within one week completed the job. We are very happy with the way it turned out. In May 2018, Courtyard Concepts completed a second project on our property. The first project was installing a granite mailbox post and granite slab stairs on both the front and back of the house the previous Fall. This second project was to construct 2 pathways in the front and back of the house and install a granite lamp post. The back pathway also expanded into a patio area for the grill.
We were extremely happy to have the quick response and meeting to discuss what we wanted to have done on the property. Tom was very easy to work with and had some great suggestions on what would look best with the pathways so they would not be cookie cutter but would look nice in the areas they were to be installed in. He followed-up with a quote within a short period and was always available to answer further questions whether by phone or email. The team that he used were focused on the job whether it was in wet or dry weather and were always conscientious with our property and with accommodating our comings and goings from our property. They were good with the cleanup and left everything looking great at the end. When there was a question during construction, it was a pleasure to work with the team lead.
I would highly recommend Courtyard Concepts for any hardscape project and I am sure we will be using them more for other projects we have in mind.

I don't even know where to begin, but I know that five stars isn't nearly enough. Without question the absolute best and most impressive experience we've ever had with someone who's done work on our home. Courtyard Concepts did my sister in law's patio, so we had some high hopes, but they absolutely exceeded every single one of them.
We first described the project to Tom in the fall of last year, and once the project got going this summer, he had notes and detailed diagrams of everything we spoke about last year. Absolutely everything they said they would do was completed, and the work is gorgeous. We had a new patio put out back, and used the leftover bricks from that patio and the old front walkway to put in a new modern brick walkway that wraps around the front of the house.
Extremely fast, professional, and some of the best quality work I've ever seen.

Many thanks to Tom, Carlos, and the Courtyard Concepts Team for our patio transformation! Our initial patio was rectangular, but we always wanted to add a dedicated circular space for our firepit and chairs. Also, some of our existing bluestones had started to shift and needed re-leveling (and we needed some upkeep on our front walkway as well). We are very excited about how the refurb projects and this new addition turned out. The whole process was very professional from initial quote through completion – we love how the existing and new portion of the patio blend together yet look distinctive at the same time. The entire crew was great, and the work was completed very quickly!

It is amazing how a small 3-step wall turned an uninteresting corner at the end of our driveway into a beautiful bonsai garden. The edge of the wall illuminated by a spotlight while supporting a bonsai forest is a beautiful sight at night.

Courtyard Concepts installed a paver front walkway and a paver extension to my driveway for parking my trailer in October 2019. They did a really nice job. Both look great. Their price was reasonable. Tom Hunt was friendly and easy to work with. He had a great crew, and we were happy to see he was giving work experience to both male and female masonry students. His foreman, Carlos, was friendly and very competent. After they laid in the walkway, I determined it wasn't as high as had been discussed for the front porch steps to sit on. Tom said “absolutely” they'd fix it, so Tom and Carlos took up half the walkway, put down more substrate material, and reinstalled the pavers, so the walkway height was perfect. Also, we really liked that Tom treated his crew well (provided them a coffee and doughnuts midmorning break). It was refreshing to see someone value his employees. My wife and I are very pleased with our walkway and parking area, and would highly recommend Courtyard Concepts.
